Information-Technology Promotion Agency (IPA) - Japan

IPA is an implementing agency in Japan with a role to address Information Security, IT Systems Reliability and IT Human Resource Development.

As an agency playing a role in the implementation of IT policy, IPAs focus is to realize a reliable IT Society by approaching three different perspectives - IT Security, IT Human Resources Development, and Improving Reliability of Information Processing Systems.

IPA has been established under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as an Incorporated Administrative Agency. The Agency implements government policy and projects in areas relating to a secure and reliable IT society and infrastructure.
