CSIRT Italia

CSIRT Italia is the national Computer Security Incident Response Team for Italy. Formed by decree in 2018, it combines the activities previously undertaken by CERT Nazionale. CSIRT Italia is established at the Information Security Department (DIS) of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Main tasks of CSIRT Italia include:

- monitoring of accidents at national level
- issuance of early warnings, alerts, and information regarding risks and accidents
- intervention in the event of an accident
- dynamic analysis of risks and accidents
- situational awareness
- participation in the CSIRT network
