Cyber Discovery

Cyber Discovery, the UK Government's Cyber Schools Programme, is a fun and interactive extracurricular learning programme designed to give young people the opportunity to learn the skills needed to enter in to the cyber security profession.

Created by world-leading experts, the programme aims to identify exceptional talent and teach you exciting topics such as ethical hacking, penetration testing and digital forensics.

Are you in years 10-13? Do you have access to a computer and the internet? Then you can take part in the first phase of the programme: CyberStart Assess! You don't need to have any prior knowledge of computer science, as our challenges will evaluate your current cyber skills. If you enjoy solving problems and logically working through challenging tasks, then Cyber Discovery could open the door to some exciting new opportunities.

The Cyber Discovery programme ended in 2021.
