International Data Sanitization Consortium (IDSC)

International Data Sanitization Consortium is a group composed of individuals and companies dedicated to standardizing terminology and practices across the data sanitization industry.

Our purposes is to support the advancement of information technology in the area of data sanitization by building consensus around terminology, definitions, and best practices for data erasure, data lifecycle management, data security lifecycle and compliance with security and privacy laws, standards and regulations.

IDSC members include analysts, software vendors, hardware manufacturers, IT asset disposition companies and enterprise organizations from across the globe.
