Macomb-OU Incubator

The Macomb-Oakland University Incubator supports economic development in Southeast Michigan by accelerating high-tech businesses, cultivating academic innovation and encouraging research and development. To help small businesses grow, the incubator creates customized success strategies for startup and emerging companies in the niche industries of defense, homeland security, advanced manufacturing and technology.

The Macomb-OU Incubator is located within the Technology Advancement SmartZone of Sterling Heights and is a partnership between the City of Sterling Heights, Macomb County and Oakland University. The incubator is housed in the Velocity building, an initiative and collaboration center that is a catalyst for launching, developing, retaining and attracting commercial enterprise within its target industries.
