National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA) - Sweden
The National Defence Radio Establishment (Försvarets Radioanstalt), is the Swedish national authority for Signals Intelligence. We supply intelligence to the Government, the Government Offices of Sweden and the Swedish Armed Forces and to other concerned authorities. We also provide Information assurance services for selected governmental authorities and state-owned companies. FRA is a civil authority subordinated to the Ministry of Defence. Our Signals Intelligence activities are carried out from different locations throughout the country. FRA has a Director General and a Deputy Director General and is organised in four departments; Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Cyber, Technical Support and Administrative Support.
