Our mission is to protect the American people by preventing threats and disruptions in the transportation sector, while enhancing the overall passenger experience. TSA sets Agency goals via an end-to-end risk-based, strategic planning process, roadmaps, and corresponding implementation plans. Areas of focus include Cybersecurity, Identity Management, and Insider Threat. The Cybersecurity Roadmap defines clear pathways to integrate and improve the TSA’s cybersecurity posture, safeguard the nation’s transportation systems, and build TSA’s capacity to meet the ever-changing cybersecurity environment.
