US Secret Service

The United States Secret Service is a federal law enforcement agency mandated by Congress to carry out the integrated missions of protection and investigations.

The US Secret Service has a pivotal role in securing the nation’s critical infrastructures, specifically in the areas of cyber, banking and finance. Other directives address the need to combat transnational organized crime that targets the citizens and financial institutions of the United States. 

The Electronic Crimes Task Force (ECTF) is a national network to prevent, detect and investigate electronic crimes, including potential terrorist attacks against critical infrastructure and financial payment systems.
